August Activities With MLE!

It's time to start preparing for the fall season here in Area II! MLE has you covered with plenty of clinics and schooling show opportunities so that you and your horse are more than prepared to go out and perform your best! 

Wednesday, August 5th - Stephen Bradley at A Bit Better Farm

Stephen Bradley enjoys teaching all levels of riders from the beginners to the advanced competitor. His enthusiasm, talent for communication and the ability to inspire to confidence in the horse and rider makes him a favorite to ride with in Area 2! When training with Stephen you can be confident that you will receive expert instruction for your level of riding. While all mounted slots for today's clinic are full, you are more than welcome to come out and audit for FREE to learn from one of the best!


Saturday, August 8th & 29th - Cross-Country Clinics With Katie Wherley

Looking to have fun and learn something new? Having an issue out on cross-country that you would like to work through with a professional? Advanced-level event rider Katie Wherley, of Katie Wherley Equestrian, will be teaching at the Woodstock Equestrian Park on Saturday, August 8th and at the Gordonsdale Cross-Country Schooling Course on Saturday, August 29th!

Schooling Fees:  
August 8th: Schooling at Woodstock is FREE so there is no additional fee! 
August 29th: $30 XC schooling fee to Gordonsdale
 
Lesson Fees: 
$75 per 45-minute private lesson  
$60 per small group lesson (no more than 4 riders) 
$5 discount to current Pony Club members!

Friday, August 21st -  Playland Equestrian Center Fix-A-Test & Jumper Show 

Come join us this summer for a night of fun at the farm! Practice your dressage test of choice in our indoor arena & school some stadium jumping rounds with our inviting, fun courses! You can also school on our cross-country schooling course as well!

Show Details:
*Dressage Fix-a-Tests will begin at 4pm
*Show-Jumping rounds will begin at 5pm


Cost:
*$35 per Fix-a-Test entry (Must pre-register)
*$12 per jumper round
*Ribbons 1st-6th place with Champion & Reserve for each division (must ride in both classes to qualify)
*$15 per horse for Cross-Country Schooling
