We can invoice your clients, pay your bills, reconcile your bank accounts, and help you manage your business plan and budget. We can also train you to use QuickBooks and then check in periodically to ensure all is going well.

Welcome to the MLE Team: Morningside Eventing

We're thrilled to welcome Morningside Eventing to the MLE team! Based out of The Plains, Virginia, Morningside Eventing, a premier 3-day Eventing program led by Skyeler Icke Voss. Morningside Eventing, formally Angelica Run Eventing, has been one of the most consistent programs in the country at producing young riders, and also has a strong following of adult amateurs. Morningside was thrilled to welcome Skyeler in March, 2012, to the Morningside team to head the training and lesson program. With her talent and their world-class training facility, the sky is the limit!

With horses ranging from unstarted youngsters to the four-star level, working students will get a hands-on experience in all aspects of a successful training and sales business. Board for one horse and housing, in spectacular new apartment in PA, is included with a 6-month commitment. Your own horse is not required though, as we have plenty to ride here. Premier dressage and eventing barn in Frederick County, Maryland has a current opening for a long-term head groom/manager position with room to grow as a team. Looking for the right person to grow with the farm long- term. Position comes with shared living quarters and board for one horse. Person must exude professionalism, have excellent communication skills, be people-oriented, organization skills, time efficiency, be detail orientated, and have a strong work ethic. Duties include some daily horse care, supervising working students, client relations around the barn and catch/assistant riding as-needed (Dependent on skill set and experience). The ideal candidate has experience grooming at FEI level horse trials as well. The job is for 6 days a week. Competitive salary offered, based on experience. College degree preferred but not a must. Job duties include: splitting firewood, weed-wacking, bush-hogging, delivering round bales, maintaining fencing + grounds, plowing/shoveling snow, maintenance on farm machinery, basic plumbing, electrical, and various housing and building maintenance required, etc. Proficient in both safe operating and mechanical maintenance of various large tractors and other machinery required. Experiences with horses is not necessary as long as candidate is comfortable working around them. Housing is on-site. Must be self-starter, strong organization skills, time efficient, and work independently. Pay is subject to experience. Playland Equestrian Center -  Seeking full-time OR part-time working student. Premier dressage and eventing barn in Frederick County, Maryland has a current opening for working students. We are looking for a special candidates to fill open working student positions starting immediately. Our ideal candidate has a good work ethic, strong time-management skills and a keen interest in learning, as well as their own method of transportation. You must be able to work well with others, take direction and have a great attitude. Practical experience with horses is a must, and experience with young horses and a familiarity with eventing would be helpful. We maintain a 6-day workweek with consistent barn hours. Most days will consist of riding for the first part of the day with routine horse management and the availability of a lesson in the afternoon. Travelling to shows and events for the right person. Must be at least 18 years old and have your own transportation. Live-in on farm situation available for the right person. Compensation will be in exchange for board for one horse, lessons, clinics, competitions and other opportunities. Knowledge of eventing would be helpful, but is not required. Located in White Post, Virginia. Flexible hours with part-time and full-time options.
